Science and Technology Week in the DRCongo under the direction of Augustin Ndimubanzi, CEO of the Ishango Milele Foundation in the DRC. The participation of the Foundation in this fifth edition of Science and Technology Week includes a series of conferences and workshops based on the DIGITAL IS “AFRICA” exhibition and “Oath of Ishango” initiatives involving the Next Einstein Forum andthe non- profit organization “Investing in People.” It includes a scientific workshop on questions related to the origin, purpose and meaning of the “Ishango Bone,” involving African scientists and attended by Vladimir PLETSER, goodwill ambassador of the Ishango Milele Foundation and physicist-astronaut from the European Space Agency III Venue: Kinshasa and Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

DAY ONE: All day until 18:00, a private gala viewing of the DIGITAL IS “AFRICA” exhibition III 18.00 to 19.00: Presentation of the mission of the Ishango Milele Foundation III 19.00 to 20.30: The “Odyssey of Ishango” concert featuring Pascaline MEVANZA a great mezzo-soprano from the DRCongo, accompanied by Fabrice ALLEMAN on the Sax, Marco LOCURCIO on Guitar, Midi and Cello, Jacques PILI on Bass as well as African percussionists and voices.

The first WALL'AFRICA Festival III This African festival will include a concert performance of the Requiem for Rw anda by Belgian composer Pierre Bartholomée, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the victims of the genocide in Rwanda genocide. It will feature performance of the ISHANGO ODYSSEY, a quartet made up of Renaud PATIGNY, the TOUBAB orchestra, events based on the DIGITAL IS “AFRICA” travelling exhibition, exhibitions of contemporary African art, and conference events involving Dirk HUYLEBROUCK and Vladimir PLETZER. It will be produced by the Ishango Milele Foundation in collaboration with CAV&MA, Solidus Unit, Mon Village, Clap Culture and PROSONIX, with support from the city of Namur and the Region of Wallonia III Venue: Namur

The DIGITAL IS “AFRICA” Exhibition USA III A series of workshops, conferences and cultural events organized in collaboration with Robin DiMaggio, US CEO of the Ishango Milele Foundation, Director of music and culture for the United Nations and UNICEF, New York. Awarded “Best Producer” of the USA in 2017 III Venue: The United Nations, New York
At GOMA under the leadership of Augustin NDIMUBANZI, CEO of the Ishango Milele Foundation in the DRCongo, the foundation is working with UYADP, the Union of Young Artists Draftsmen and Painters on a range of projects including the construction of a Cultural Center close to the Ishango region, near the border between the DRCongo and modern day Uganda.
The ISHANGO MILELE Foundation is also partnering with UYADP organization in Goma, charged by CARITAS and CAFOD to educate young people about democracy, good governance and elections. A campaign that began with an awareness raising during the famous AMANI Festival (PEACE) in Goma (30.000 people). We are also very proud of our director Augustin NDIMUBANZY for his involvement in the digital processing of civil status for 3 cities of the North Kivu Province.
The Ishango Milele Foundation is working with the MANDJI association run by Nicole LETUPPE, based on the use of music and French song to improve literacy in BENIN.
Projects in Belgium: The Ishango Milele Foundation will organize and co-produce a series of concert-shows at the Euro Space Center, in collaboration with CAV&MA of Namur, ESA the European Space and the Euro Space Center. This is planned for first quarter 2020.
International Projects: The Ishango Milele International Mix-House Project involves well known Belgian and international DJs, who have committed to the creation of works that they will perform at national and international venues in order to raise awareness of the work of the foundation and defend its vision and values based on the idea of Sharing Knowledge for Peace.
